This was a truly special story to capture. Jef traveled all the way from Ithaca, New York, with the dream of proposing to Cat in Ithaca, Greece, a place that held symbolic meaning for them both.
To make it happen, he arranged to come from Kefalonia and rent a boat on a particularly windy day. It wasn’t easy, with restrictions on rentals and rough conditions at sea, but his determination brought them safely to Skinos Beach.
There, against the dramatic backdrop of the coast, he asked the big question. Jef and Cat are a wonderful couple, and it was a joy to witness and photograph such a meaningful moment in their journey together.
