Eleni, Makis & Vasilis

Makis and Eleni tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Lazareto’s Isle Chapel in Vathy, Ithaca. The bride, who is from the neighboring island of Kefalonia, wore a stunning lace gown while the groom, a local of Ithaca, looked dapper in a navy suit. 

The bride and groom were surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the ceremony was officiated by a local priest. After the wedding ceremony, the guests enjoyed a refreshment and the baptism ceremony of their son Basilis began right after. 

The ceremony was followed by a reception at Filiatro Beach, where guests enjoyed traditional Greek food and music.

The next day, Makis, Eleni and little vasilis followed us on various spots around Vathy to take some extra photos & videos.

I was lucky enough to film the wedding and I’m so happy with how the footage turned out. The drone footage of the boat trip is particularly stunning, and I think it really captures the beauty of the island of Ithaca.

The footage is full of love and emotion, and I know that Makis and Eleni will cherish them forever.
