Alessia and Enrico were one of the most eccentric and genuinely unique couples I’ve had the pleasure of filming. From the beginning, it was clear that they had no interest in having a wedding that followed a standard formula. They wanted the day to feel like them: spontaneous, playful, a little crazy, and full of dancing.

Coming from Italy and with a real love for Ithaca and Greek culture, they brought that connection into the heart of their wedding. One of their most memorable ideas was a Sirtaki dance with their guests around Lazaretto, turning the tiny island into their own dance floor. Watching everyone move together around the island was one of those moments that simply couldn’t have been planned in a traditional wedding timeline.

Then came the reception at Filiatro Beach. But instead of making a conventional entrance, Alessia and Enrico decided to turn it into a little James Bond scene. They arrived by boat, stepping ashore as if they were two secret agents arriving for their next mission.

From a Sirtaki dance around Lazaretto to a James Bond arrival at Filiatro, their wedding was full of unexpected moments and personal ideas. For me, it was exactly the kind of wedding that makes wedding videography exciting: not simply recording what happened, but capturing the personality, energy, and atmosphere that made the day unmistakably theirs.
